ABOUT ALON YESHUA

My name is Alon Yeshua, a photographer based in Tel Aviv.

 

In my projects, I document myself through the bodies of others, using them as communication funnels to the emotions and sensations surrounding specific periods in my life, often guided by texts I write in advance.

 

When approaching a project, I always share with the model the personal story behind the image, completing a cycle of exposure. They open themselves to me and to the camera lens, and I open myself to them. Through this personal process - the model steps into my inner world, adopting the character through my experiences & the story I share with

them.
